Psalm 100 is the Bible's great thanksgiving psalm, five verses that call the whole earth to enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. It roots gratitude in who God is: the Lord is good, his love endures forever, and his faithfulness continues through all generations. For centuries believers have used it to put thankfulness into words.
1Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth.
2Serve the LORD with gladness; come into His presence with joyful songs.
3Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
4Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and bless His name.
5For the LORD is good, and His loving devotion endures forever; His faithfulness continues to all generations.
