Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled (John 14:1-4)

John 14:1-4 · Berean Standard Bible

On the night before the cross, Jesus comforts his anxious disciples: 'Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.' He anchors their unsettled hearts not in circumstances but in trust and in a promised future, 'My Father's house has many rooms... I am going there to prepare a place for you.' It is a call to let faith, not fear, hold your heart when everything feels uncertain.

1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well.

2In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.

4You know the way to the place where I am going.”
