Clothe Yourselves With Love (Colossians 3:12-14)

Colossians 3:12-14 · Berean Standard Bible

"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone... And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." Colossians 3:12-14 lists the clothing of a healthy relationship — compassion, humility, patience, and forgiveness — held together by love, making it a go-to passage for working through marriage problems and conflict.

12Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

13Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

14And over all these virtues put on love, which is the bond of perfect unity.
