Bible Verses About Anxiety (Philippians 4:6-7)
Philippians 4:6-7 · Berean Standard Bible
Philippians 4:6-7 is the Bible's most direct answer to anxiety: 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.' Paul's instruction replaces worry with prayer, and the result is a promise, 'the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' It is a practical exchange, hand your anxious thoughts to God and receive a peace that stands guard over you.
6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
