The Lord's Prayer

Matthew 6:9-13 · Berean Standard Bible

When his followers asked how to pray, Jesus gave them these few lines that hold everything — worship, provision, forgiveness, and rescue. The most prayed words in history, and a pattern for your own.

9So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.

10Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

11Give us this day our daily bread.

12And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
