We're sorry to see you go

Before You Delete

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed, including:

  • Your profile and account information
  • All prophecies, testimonies, and encouragements you've created
  • All your audio recordings and your profile picture, deleted from our storage
  • Your group memberships
  • All comments and interactions

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in your store settings. We cannot cancel those subscriptions for you. A subscription you bought on the web is cancelled for you.

Option 1: Delete Account In-App (Recommended)

Steps:

  1. Open the Doxa app
  2. Open the menu and tap Settings
  3. Scroll to the Account section
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Tap "Delete Account" to confirm
  6. Tap "Yes, Delete Everything" to confirm a second time

Your account and all associated data are deleted from our live database right away. Backup copies expire within 30 days.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days as required by GDPR/UK GDPR.

What Gets Deleted

  • Account: Your email, profile, and authentication data
  • Records: All prophecies, testimonies, and encouragements
  • Audio and images: Your voice recordings, audio files and profile picture. We delete the files from our storage, not only from the app.
  • Doxa Engage: Your session history, messages and summaries
  • Grace Record: Stories you submitted, and your saved stories
  • Groups: Your memberships. Groups you lead are not deleted. They stay for their other members.
  • Comments: All comments and interactions
  • Notifications: All notification history
  • Subscription: A subscription you bought on the web is cancelled. An App Store or Google Play subscription is not. Cancel it in your store settings.
  • Analytics: The usage data in our database is deleted. Our product analytics service keeps a separate record. We delete it when you ask us at privacy@doxa.app.
