Take Heart, I Have Overcome the World (John 16:32-33)
John 16:32-33 · Berean Standard Bible
Jesus is honest about hard seasons and hopeful at the same time: 'In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.' He does not promise a stress-free life, he promises peace 'in me' despite the trouble. When circumstances feel overwhelming, this verse anchors courage in Christ's finished victory rather than in things going well.
32“Look, an hour is coming and has already come when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and you will leave Me all alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
33I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
