ἐξέρχομαι

“As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind?”

“What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.”

“And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.”

“But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.”

“Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.”

“Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.”

“Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy there and stay at his house until you move on.”

“Otherwise, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? Look, those who wear fine clothing are found in kings’ palaces.”

“So the servants went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.”
