“At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat them.”

“As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind?”

“And sending them to Bethlehem, he said: “Go and search carefully for the Child, and when you find Him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship Him.””

““Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and go to the land of Israel, for those seeking the Child’s life are now dead.””

“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stood over the place where the Child was.”

“Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there. And the final plight of that man is worse than the first. So will it be with this wicked generation.””
