“When the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard Him were astonished. “Where did this man get these ideas?” they asked. “What is this wisdom He has been given? And how can He perform such miracles?”

“But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and told them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

“But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him.”

“Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.””

“In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such a woman. So what do You say?””

“But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.””

“Because of this, some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for He does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, “How can a sinful man perform such signs?” And there was division among them.”

““I beheaded John,” Herod said, “but who is this man I hear such things about?” And he kept trying to see Jesus.”

“With many such parables Jesus spoke the word to them, to the extent that they could understand.”
