ἀγνοέω

“Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?”

“I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, how often I planned to come to you (but have been prevented from visiting until now), in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles.”

“Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?”

“I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.”

“But they did not understand this statement, and they were afraid to ask Him about it.”

“Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.”

“For as I walked around and examined your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore what you worship as something unknown, I now proclaim to you.”

“But they did not understand this statement. It was veiled from them so that they could not comprehend it, and they were afraid to ask Him about it.”

“Do you not know, brothers (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has authority over a man only as long as he lives?”
