“When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but that instead a riot was breaking out, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “You bear the responsibility.””

““Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.”

“As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. Suddenly the heavens were opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and resting on Him.”

““Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.”

“I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.””

“Indeed, if anyone gives you even a cup of water because you bear the name of Christ, truly I tell you, he will never lose his reward.”

““It often throws him into the fire or into the water, trying to kill him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.””

““Come,” said Jesus. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.”

“As soon as Jesus came up out of the water, He saw the heavens breaking open and the Spirit descending on Him like a dove.”
