The Medical Crisis That Changed Everything
In July 1959, Betty Malz was a young woman vacationing in Florida when she was struck by an intense pain in her side. Initially misdiagnosed with a tubular pregnancy, it was later found that her appendix had burst, leading to severe peritonitis and toxic poisoning. Betty fell into a 44-day coma and was pronounced dead for 28 minutes at a hospital in Indiana.
Betty Malz Heaven Testimony Experience
During this time, Betty experienced an extraordinary encounter. As she described it, "The transition was serene and peaceful." She found herself walking up a vibrant green hill, her legs moving effortlessly, accompanied by a tall figure she believed to be an angelic presence. The landscape around her was breathtaking, with vivid flowers and a deep blue sky. As she approached a magnificent gate, she was bathed in a powerful, loving light that she recognized as Jesus.
Miraculous Return from Death
Betty's father was praying fervently, calling on Jesus, which she heard as she was drawn back to the hospital room. There, she witnessed the words, "I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live," displayed in pulsating letters. As Betty reached out to touch the words, she returned to life, much to the astonishment of the medical team present.
Life Transformed by Heaven's Reality
This experience profoundly changed Betty's life. Once proud and materialistic, she emerged with a newfound love for Jesus and a mission to share her testimony. For the next 53 years, Betty dedicated herself to writing and speaking about her experience, emphasizing that "I had to die to learn how to live." Her story has inspired countless others, illustrating how Jesus used her to demonstrate His power and love.
