As a young mother, she was overwhelmed with exhaustion and doubt, questioning her purpose and even the existence of God.
God Spoke During Sleepless Night
In 2007, during a sleepless night, Jennie felt a divine call to 'Gather and equip your generation.' This moment marked the beginning of a new chapter, though she was unsure of how to proceed. Overwhelmed and feeling unworthy, Jennie began a journey of surrender, documented in her book, 'Anything: The Prayer that Unlocked My God and My Soul.'
Launching IF:Gathering Despite Fears
By 2014, Jennie launched IF:Gathering, a movement aimed at equipping women to live out their faith. This initiative was born from the question, 'If God is realβ¦then what?' Despite her fears, Jennie answered the call, driven by a vision to create spaces where women could wrestle with truth and transform their lives.
Freedom from People Pleasing
In 2017, Jennie published 'Nothing to Prove: Why We Can Stop Trying So Hard,' sharing her realization that true freedom comes from surrendering control to God. She discovered that God's love is not contingent on our performance, allowing her to release the burden of proving her worth.
Vision for Global Ministry
A vivid dream in 2022 reignited her urgency for the mission. Jennie envisioned Jesus returning in ten years, prompting her to organize Gather25, a global event in March 2025, uniting believers worldwide.
