Linus Johansson from Boras, Sweden became a Christian when he was ten years old and has since dedicated his life to seeing revival among his generation in Europe.
Foundation in Scripture and Community
Growing up, Linus attended Bible schools from the age of fourteen, developing a deep foundation in Scripture and Christian community. As he approached high school graduation, he began earnestly seeking God's direction for his future.
Called to YWAM Circuit Riders
"When I was about to graduate at high school, I started praying, asking God if and where I should go for Bible school," Linus shares. "I felt the Lord talking to me about YWAM, and He led me to join the Circuit Rider."
The Circuit Riders are a dynamic movement within Youth With A Mission (YWAM) focused on evangelism among young people, particularly through campus ministry and large-scale outreach events. Their "Carry the Love" tour has traveled through over thirty European countries.
Sensing Potential for Gen Z Revival
Linus describes the impact of that calling: "I really felt, well, on fire afterward. I sensed the potential for a revival in my generation, a movement of the Holy Spirit."
His generation is part of what observers call the "Quiet Revival" in Europe - a surprising movement of young people coming to faith despite growing up in some of the most secular countries in the world. In Sweden, traditionally one of Europe's most secular nations, young Christians like Linus are finding that their peers are increasingly open to conversations about faith, meaning, and truth.
