Samuel Rodriguez Ministry Foundation
Samuel Rodriguez, a prominent Evangelical leader of Puerto Rican descent, has dedicated his life to bridging the gap between faith and culture, righteousness and justice. Raised in a Bible-believing household, Samuel felt the call to ministry at a tender age. By 16, he was delivering sermons and by 20, he was a sought-after speaker despite facing discouragement from those who doubted his potential because of his heritage.
In 2000, Samuel founded the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), aiming to mobilize Hispanic evangelicals around civic engagement. His efforts have led him to advise three U.S. Presidents and found New Season Christian Worship Center in Sacramento, California.
Daughter Critical on Ventilator
However, his journey has not been without personal trials. A deeply personal testimony of God's intervention unfolded when his daughter fell gravely ill. She was on a ventilator in the ICU, and Samuel, faced with a doctor's grim prognosis, turned to prayer. In a moment of desperation, he pleaded with God, "Lord, can I just need...can you just give me one little sign that you're in the midst of this...can you just send a contingency of angels to her ICU?"
Angels Appeared Hospital Room
Remarkably, his daughter texted him from the ICU, saying, "Dad, I promise you, it's not the meds...angels just invaded my room." Against all odds, she was soon breathing on her own, no longer reliant on the ventilator. Samuel attributes this miraculous recovery to Jesus, who answered his prayers and intervened in his daughter's critical condition.
Walking in Victory Today
Through such experiences, Samuel teaches that "Christ will make a miracle out of your mess." His life embodies the principles of the "Lamb's Agenda," prioritizing righteousness, justice, and mercy. Samuel encourages others to stand firm in their faith, asserting, "When light stands next to darkness, light always wins." His testimony is a powerful reminder of Jesus' unwavering presence and transformative power.
