A Man of Profound Faith
In the mid-1800s, George Müller was a man of profound faith, renowned for his trust in God's ability to provide in the most miraculous ways. Leading an orphanage in Bristol, England, he never asked for donations or funds directly. Instead, he relied solely on prayer and faith, believing that God would meet every need.
An Empty Table
One particular morning, the situation seemed dire. Over 300 children sat at the breakfast table with no food in sight. But Müller, unwavering in his trust, led the children in prayer, thanking God for the meal they were about to receive.
Divine Provision
As they finished praying, there was a knock at the door. It was the local baker who, prompted by a strong urge during the night, had baked extra bread and brought it to the orphanage. Moments later, a milk cart broke down right outside the orphanage, and the milkman offered all his milk rather than let it spoil. God had provided exactly what was needed.
