College Student Called to Ministry
Nick Hall grew up in rural North Dakota, always sensing a purpose beyond the ordinary. As a college student at North Dakota State University, Hall was initially focused on basketball, but he couldn't shake a deeper calling. Surrounded by peers grappling with depression, substance abuse, and a waning faith, he felt an urgent need to make a difference.
The Vision Becomes Reality
In 2004, Hall penned an English paper titled 'Pulse,' envisioning a campus transformed by Jesus. This vision was not just an academic exercise; it was a catalyst for action. 'As a college freshman, I knew I was put on earth to do one thing—put Jesus at the pulse of my generation,' Hall shared. By 2006, Pulse was officially founded, sparking a student-led movement that would grow exponentially.
Campus Revival Goes Global
Pulse began as a response to the spiritual and emotional needs Hall observed around him, but it quickly became a global phenomenon. One of Pulse's hallmark events, TOGETHER '22, drew thousands to the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Hall's passion for evangelism was evident as he declared, 'This is a revival generation. They aren't quietly walking away—they are coming back, and they are more loud than ever.'
Movement Transforms Countless Lives
Hall's journey from a basketball scholarship to leading a worldwide evangelistic movement underscores a life transformed by Jesus. Through Pulse, he has equipped over 22,000 people to share their faith, with more than 1,200 responding to Christ at a single event in Benton, Arkansas. His commitment is clear: 'My life exists to put Christ at the pulse of a generation.'
Today, Pulse continues to reach millions, uniting the church, equipping believers, and inspiring a new generation to boldly share the Gospel. Hall's story is a testament to how Jesus can use one person's surrender to ignite a movement, bringing hope and transformation to countless lives.
