Carlos Annacondia's Divine Encounter
In the late 20th century, Argentina witnessed a spiritual awakening that transformed cities and lives, largely sparked by a businessman named Carlos Annacondia. On May 19, 1979, during an Evangelical campaign led by Pastor Manuel Ruiz, Annacondia experienced a profound moment with Jesus. He was a man burdened by worries about his business and family, but that day, he felt the Lord speaking directly to him, saying, 'Carlos, you're so worried about life – for your children's future, for your businesses – you are unhappy. Give me your heart, I will give you life.' This message of assurance led him to accept Jesus, marking the beginning of his remarkable journey.
Called to Ministry in Argentina
In 1981, Annacondia received a divine message that would shape his future: 'Soon, soon, soon. There will be a great revival in Argentina. Argentina will be mine, says the Lord.' With this promise, he felt a strong call to ministry. By April 1982, after a powerful encounter with Ezekiel 37, he sensed God affirming, 'Everything you asked me, I give it to you. Start preaching.'
Argentina Revival Crusades Begin
Annacondia began his ministry among the poor, visiting hospitals and praying for the sick, which soon led to his large-scale evangelistic crusades. His open-air meetings drew tens of thousands, eager to hear his simple gospel message and witness the miracles and healings that followed.
