Growing Up Christian, But Not Knowing Christ
I grew up in a Christian home and attended a Christian school. On paper, I had it all figured out. But inside, I was battling crippling depression and anxiety.
I didn't really know Jesus—I just knew about Him. And that knowledge wasn't enough to save me from myself.
Christmas Day at Waffle House
On Christmas Day 2020, I had formed a plan to take my own life. I went to a Waffle House in Georgia to eat what I thought would be my last meal.
I was sitting there, broken, hopeless, ready to end it all.
Then I met a man. He was despondent—his wife was divorcing him. We started talking, and he said something that stuck with me: "There's no growth in a relationship if the love isn't mutual."
The Encounter That Changed Everything
Something about that conversation, that divine appointment at a Waffle House on Christmas Day, broke through. God used a broken man to speak to another broken man.
I found hope and purpose in the midst of despair and agony. The transformative power of faith and love became real to me that night.
Jesus wasn't just a name I grew up hearing. He was alive. He was pursuing me. And He met me at my lowest point—in a Waffle House, ready to die.
From Prank Videos to Preaching
Before I came to Christ, I made prank videos on TikTok. It was all about views, laughs, entertainment.
Now I have 3.9 million followers, and I use every single one of those views to point people to Jesus.
I've seen the dark side of Christian content creation. Friends have walked away from the faith. There's pressure to turn spirituality into a product. But I know what God pulled me out of. I can't stay silent.
I spoke my testimony to 8,000+ students at Liberty University. I travel as a street evangelist. Because "Jesus loves you" isn't just a slogan—it's the truth that saved my life.
If He can meet me at a Waffle House on Christmas Day when I was planning to die, He can meet you wherever you are.
