Christian Business Success Testimony Unfolds
In 1957, Mary founded Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc. from her garage, aiming to create a place where women could flourish professionally and still prioritize family. She once shared, "I wanted a business where women could develop their genius and still be home when the kids got home from school." By 1983, her company was a thriving enterprise, with sales reaching $400 million, reflecting her commitment to honoring God and serving others.
Faith and Tithing Drive Growth
Mary's business success was deeply intertwined with her faith. She believed strongly in tithing, stating, "Tithing to me is the secret... what I receive is to be given, and you can't outgive God." Her reliance on God was evident during trying times, including overcoming cancer and navigating business challenges. She often reminded others, "Don't worship me, worship the God I serve. I may let you down; I'm very human and I have feet of clay. But God is real and He is able and He alone is perfect."

Mary's journey from a struggling single mother to a renowned business leader was marked by her unwavering faith and desire to serve others. Her story is one of transformation and divine intervention.
