Drowning in Debt
A family gets miraculously out of debt after years of financial struggles and bought their dream house.
A Bethel member shared this testimony:
Two and a half years ago, my husband and I and our four children were living in a 900-square-foot house. My daughter was sleeping in the laundry room. There was just enough space for her bed, two machines, and a small walkway. We were desperately trying to get out of debt with no end in sight. It just kept piling on. Medical bills and taxes were destroying us.
A Year of Jubilee
At the beginning of the year, Bill Johnson shared a message about this being a year of jubilee. My husband, Ryan, came home saying, I think our tax debt is going to be taken care of. I laughed at him. The IRS does NOT forgive tax debt. It was impossible. Kris Vallotton also shared a prophetic word soon after in which he listed out three things to be expectant of. I was so impacted by that word that I put the three things on my phone screen so that I would have it before me as a daily reminder:
1. Unusual occurrences 2. Acceleration 3. Supernatural intervention
Complete Financial Turnaround
At one point this year, we were 60k in debt with no hope in sight. We weren't just sitting around willing it to go away. We were working long, hard hours to do all we could to get out of debt, but it just kept piling on. However, we are now debt-free! Our CPA found an error in our favor, and we not only didn't owe any taxes they now owed us! We had 26k in medical bills completely forgiven.
The Dream House
I was given a prophetic word at the beginning of the year that I was Dorothy clicking my heels saying, "There's no place like home."
It has been a dream of my heart to buy a house for 12 years. Not only that, but we are now moving to Austin, Texas, the state I grew up in. Our offer was just accepted on a house that is bigger than I could ever hope to dream of! I'm pinching myself. It wasn't possible, but it is now. God is incredibly good to us. I hope this gives you hope! It's been 12 years of struggle financially, but no more!
