'I always believed, since I was a kid, that God was going to allow me to play professional football to use it as a platform,' he once said. Miraculous Healing from Sports Injury
In a remarkable event in 1995, he experienced a miraculous healing. After tearing his hamstring, an MRI suggested he shouldn't even walk, yet Reggie missed only one game and returned to help his team win the Super Bowl. He attributed this recovery to God's intervention, saying, 'God didn't do this for Reggie White...But other people prayed for me to be healed, and God answered so that people's lives would be impacted.'

He questioned some established teachings and felt that his earlier preaching had misled people. 'I've been a preacher for 21 years...When I look on it now, I misled people,' he admitted. Reggie sought a deeper understanding of Scripture, saying, 'I've got to sit down and get it right.'
