God Provided for Orphan After Tragedy
Waswa, a young Ugandan man, has experienced a profound transformation that can only be credited to Jesus. His story begins on the streets, where he found himself after his mother was killed for her Christian faith. Despite this tragedy, Waswa recalls, 'Even after everything she went through, my mother kept trusting in God.' Motivated by his mother's unwavering faith, Waswa and his siblings started praying for their dire situation. Miraculously, each time they prayed, God sent strangers who provided food and other necessities, renewing their hope and deepening their trust in God.
From Streets to Ministry Calling
As Waswa grew older, he felt called to give back, understanding the pain of street life firsthand. He established an orphanage, offering shelter, education, and care to vulnerable children. Waswa shares, 'I decided to teach them the Word of God, restore their hope, and raise them as God-fearing children.' His testimony has become a beacon of hope for the children, strengthening their faith and renewing their hope in Christ.
Life Transformed Through Prayer
Waswa's journey from homelessness to becoming a caretaker and mentor is a testament to Jesus' transformative power. He credits prayer and divine intervention for his achievements, saying, 'I thank everybody who has been standing with me in prayer because it is through these prayers that I have been able to achieve whatever I have managed.' Waswa's story is a vivid reminder that Jesus is the one who heals, restores, and provides, bringing glory to God through a life of service and faith.
