Hindu Monk Seeks True Liberation
Arjun Sharma, once known as Swami Arjuna, was a Hindu monk deeply entrenched in the pursuit of moksha, or liberation, through his own efforts and teachings. Living in an ashram in Bloomington, Indiana, he had dedicated his life to spiritual enlightenment. However, in 2021, during a deep meditation retreat, Arjun had a life-altering experience. He collapsed and found himself in a near-death state. In this vulnerable moment, he saw a vision of Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke to him, saying, 'You sought liberation through your efforts, but true liberation comes through me. I am the one true God, not one of many.' This profound encounter shattered Arjun's previous beliefs and revealed a new truth.
Swami Becomes Christian Despite Opposition
Upon regaining consciousness, Arjun faced a personal crisis. He realized that everything he had taught about liberation was incomplete without Jesus. Despite the risk of losing his followers and facing rejection, he boldly stepped down from his position as a swami. Arjun embraced Christianity, removed all symbols of his former beliefs, and was baptized. He joined a local church, fully committing himself to his newfound faith in Jesus Christ.
Walking in True Freedom
Arjun's transformation did not go unnoticed. His disciples were shocked, and many turned away from him. Yet, this did not deter him. Arjun found peace and purpose in his relationship with Jesus, the true source of liberation he had always sought. Today, he shares his testimony, emphasizing that true freedom is found in Jesus alone, inspiring others to explore faith in Christ.
