Success Without Fulfillment
Sid Roth, raised in a traditional Jewish home, felt disenchanted with organized religion early on. Despite having a successful career at Merrill Lynch, a loving family, and the trappings of material success, he longed for something deeper. By age 29, his quest for happiness led him away from his family and into the New Age movement. Yet, this pursuit left him on the brink of losing his mind, as he grappled with a dark power he couldn't control.
A Startling Challenge
In a moment of crisis, Roth encountered a Christian businessman who challenged him with the idea that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. As Roth delved into the Scriptures, he was startled by the truth he found. However, as he considered Jesus' identity, a spirit guide, part of his New Age practices, began to torment him.
Crying Out to Jesus
Desperate and filled with fear, Roth cried out, 'Jesus, help!' The next morning, he awoke to a profound sense of peace, realizing the spirit had left him, and he knew Jesus was real. He also heard what he believed was the voice of God, guiding him to reconcile with his family: 'I hate divorce return to your wife and daughter.'
A Ministry is Born
Roth's life transformed completely. His marriage was restored, and his entire family came to faith in Jesus. From that point on, Roth devoted his life to sharing the Gospel, especially with Jewish people. In 1977, he founded Messianic Vision and later launched the television program *It's Supernatural!* in 1996. His ministry has since expanded to include an online network and the Middle East Television Network, reaching countless people with the message of Jesus.
Through the grace and power of Jesus, Roth's journey from materialism and spiritual darkness to a life of purpose and peace exemplifies the profound impact of true faith.
