Imprisoned for Faith in China
In the bustling city of Zhengzhou, China, in 1997, I found myself confined in a high-security prison, unjustly detained for sharing the message of Jesus. The guards had beaten me ruthlessly, and my legs were broken, rendering me unable to walk. Yet, despite the physical and spiritual darkness surrounding me, I clung to the light of Christ with every ounce of faith I could muster. I remember praying, "Lord, I am in Your hands. If it is Your will, let me leave this prison today." On May 5th, that prayer was answered in a way only Jesus could orchestrate.
God's Miraculous Prison Escape
It was a typical morning when, suddenly, the iron door of my cell swung open. The guards, who were usually vigilant, were nowhere to be seen. It was as if I had become invisible to them. Even more astonishingly, though my legs were broken, I found myself standing and walking, as if carried by unseen hands. I moved past guards and through locked gates, each one opening before me as if by divine command. "The God of Peter and Paul is still alive," I whispered, remembering the biblical accounts of miraculous prison escapes.
Walking into Supernatural Freedom
As I stepped out into the courtyard, I was overwhelmed with a sense of peace and assurance that only Jesus could provide. The prison gates, which had held me captive in despair, now stood open, a testament to His power and love. I walked out of the prison into the bustling streets, a free man, not only in body but renewed in spirit. Jesus had made a way where there seemed to be none, and I was living proof of His unwavering faithfulness.
Life Transformed Through Divine Intervention
From that day onward, my life was transformed. My escape was not just a physical liberation but a spiritual awakening, igniting a renewed passion within me to share the Gospel with even greater fervor. It was Jesus who orchestrated this miraculous escape, and to Him alone belongs all the glory and honor.
