You have a story. Probably several. Moments where God showed up, provided, healed, redirected, or simply made Himself known. The question is: do you remember them?
Most believers have experienced more of God's faithfulness than they can recall on any given day. Not because the moments were small, but because life moves fast and memory is unreliable. The prayer that was answered last year feels distant. The breakthrough from five years ago has lost its edges. A testimony journal is a dedicated place to record what God has done in your life. Not goals. Not resolutions. Not even prayers, though those matter too. A testimony journal focuses on one thing: evidence.
What did God do? When? How did it happen? What were you carrying when He showed up?

Why It Matters More Than You Think
1. It Changes How You Pray
When you have a record of answered prayer, your confidence shifts. You stop approaching God as if you are starting from zero. You come with evidence.
David did this before Goliath. He told Saul: "The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from this Philistine" (1 Samuel 17:37). Revelation 12:11 says believers overcome "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." Your story is a weapon for someone else.

You do not need elegant prose. You need honest details. The rougher and more specific the entry, the more powerful it becomes when you revisit it later.

A prayer journal records what you are asking God for. A testimony journal records what God has already done. One faces forward. The other faces backward, and in doing so, builds faith for what comes next.
