How do I give a prophetic word?
To give a prophecy well, write it down exactly as it was given and give it to the person it is for. They can then invite people they trust to weigh it, and keep it. Each step comes from Scripture: write the vision down (Habakkuk 2:2), speak to build up, encourage and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3), test all things and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21), and fight the good fight by the prophecies made about you (1 Timothy 1:18). Is giving really free?
Yes. Giving, recording, receiving, and the Encouragement Vault are free, always.
Does the person receiving it need the app?
No. The link opens on the web, on any phone or laptop, and reading it needs nothing installed. Saving the prophecy to an Encouragement Vault of their own takes the free app.
Who can see the prophecy?
Only the person it is given to. A giver can also give a prophecy into a church, where an appointed team can weigh and steward it.
Can my church weigh a prophecy given through Doxa?
Yes, when the prophecy is given into the church. The team your church appoints weighs and stewards it. A prophecy given to one person stays in their own Encouragement Vault, off the church board unless they bring it there, and they can invite their pastor to help weigh it.
