How the practice works
1 → 2
You hear God speak through Scripture, impressions, dreams, other believers, or in prayer. Sometimes that word is for you. Sometimes it is for someone else, and you prophesy it forward.
3 → 4
You record it before it fades, with date, context, exact wording. Then you test it: against Scripture, against the person of Jesus, against the witness of the Spirit and trusted community.
5 → 6
You remember what you have heard and seen, returning to it on a rhythm so it does not fade. And you trust: acting on the word, walking it out, even when life argues against it.

The cycle repeats. Every act of trust becomes a new testimony, something to remember, something to share, something that sharpens the ear for what God is saying next.

What is the Doxa Way?
The Doxa Way is a spiritual practice of remembering what God has said and done. It moves through six elements: hearing, prophesying, recording, testing, remembering, and trusting. The practice predates the app and works on its own. Doxa simply gives it a home.
Is the Doxa Way only for the app?
No. The six elements are a practice anyone can keep with a journal and an open Bible. Doxa exists to make each step easier: a place to record words, weigh them well, remember them on a rhythm, and share testimony of what God has done.
How do I test or weigh a prophetic word?
You weigh it against Scripture, against the person of Jesus, and against the witness of the Spirit and trusted community. Scripture tells us to test all things and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Testing protects what is true and sets aside what does not hold.
Why does remembering matter so much?
Because what God says is easy to forget. Words fade, seasons change, and discouragement makes us doubt what we once heard clearly. Recording and returning to what God has said keeps it alive, so you can walk it out with courage long after the moment has passed.
