For church plants

The first 90 days of a new church.

Words are spoken over a new church at the launch, in the first prayer meetings, over the first coffees. Here is a simple way to record them, weigh them together against Scripture, and hold to what is good, from the first Sunday.

Free to start. No card needed. Every new church gets weighing and holding for 30 days to see what it's like.

  1. Launch Sunday

Record what is spoken over the new church.

Set up your church free, with no card, and invite your people with one link or a QR code. Words spoken at the launch, in prayer lines and in the first meetings go on one board, on a phone the moment they are spoken, by voice or by typing. Each carries who spoke it, when, and the context it was given in. The board is private by default: only the people you invite can see it, and every member who joins can see the board and every Held Word.

  2. The first 30 days

Weigh them with a team you appoint.

Your leaders decide who weighs. The team weighs each word against Scripture, marks the lines that ring true and sets aside the ones that do not. No single leader can push a word through alone: when the witnesses you set have weighed in, it can be held. Notes your discernment team writes stay inside that team. Every new church gets weighing and holding for 30 days to see what it's like. After that, every recorded word stays and your people can still submit words, but weighing and holding pause until your church chooses a plan.

  3. Weeks 1 to 7

    Learn to hear together.

Run a free course with your first home group. Hearing His Voice (7 weeks) is for a group that wants to grow in hearing, testing, recording and speaking what God says. Does God Still Speak? (6 weeks) is for a mixed room, where some are not sure God still speaks today. Each session is 90 minutes, with a facilitator PDF of teaching notes and weekly participant links. No charge, and no church plan needed.

Words spoken over one person

A word spoken over one member goes into that person’s own app, free, and stays off the church board unless they bring it there. They can invite a leader in to help weigh it.

Years from now

When a word comes to pass, someone marks it fulfilled and writes the story of what God did. The church can look back on what was spoken over its beginning, and on what has happened since.
