What is Doxa? The Encouragement App
Doxa is a voice-first app that helps you remember what God said through The Grace Record, Engage (Text or Voice), the full Bible, and The Encouragement Vault. Coming soon to iOS and Android.

Doxa is a voice-first app that helps you record, remember, and engage with spiritual encouragement. It brings together the full Bible, 1,600+ curated testimonies in The Grace Record, AI-powered conversations (text or voice) through Engage, and The Encouragement Vault: your personal archive of the words of life and destiny the Holy Spirit may have spoken to you. Coming soon to iOS and Android.
Remember what God said.
That's the whole point of Doxa. When God speaks, whether through Scripture, a sermon, a friend's prayer, or a quiet moment, you need a way to hold onto it. Not just write it down and forget it. Actually remember it. Engage with it. Let it shape how you live.
But Doxa isn't just about remembering. It's about experiencing God's glory again and again. The glory of His Presence. Hearing His words of life, not once, but over and over, so that you are encouraged for the whole journey. When you revisit what God said to you three years ago, His Presence meets you there again. That's the point.
Doxa is built around four core experiences: the full Bible (with a reading experience we think you'll love), The Grace Record (1,600+ curated testimonies), Engage (Text or Voice) (AI-powered spiritual conversations), and The Encouragement Vault (your personal archive of the encouragement God has given you).
Why "Doxa"?
The Greek word doxa means "glory" or "praise." It's the word used in Scripture when people respond to seeing God work. When the shepherds saw angels announcing Jesus' birth, they returned "glorifying and praising God" (Luke 2:20). That's doxa.
We chose this name because Doxa is about experiencing God's glory. Not in an abstract theological sense, but in the specific, concrete ways God has shown up in your life and in the lives of others. Every testimony in The Grace Record, every verse that found you at the right moment, every voice note you save, every conversation you have with Engage is a response to God's work, and a doorway back into His Presence.
Doxa is about the glory of encountering God and then encountering Him again. And again. His words of life are not one-time events. They are fuel for the road ahead. And when you revisit them, His Presence meets you there.
The Problem Doxa Solves
Here's the thing nobody talks about: forgetting is easy. Remembering takes work.
You hear a sermon that wrecks you. You write it down, snap a photo of your notes, maybe even text a friend about it. Two weeks later, it's gone. The clarity, the conviction, the specific way God spoke? All faded.
Or someone prays for you, and in that moment you know God is with you. But anxiety returns. Doubt creeps back. You wish you could hit replay on that prayer, feel that presence again.
Or you have your own testimony, something God did that changed everything, and you haven't told it in so long that the details are getting blurry.
Doxa solves this problem. It's not another Bible app with reading plans you'll abandon by February. It's not a meditation app with generic mindfulness exercises. It's a tool built specifically to help you record, remember, revisit, and engage with what God said, so you can experience His Presence and encouragement for the whole journey.
How Doxa Works: Four Core Experiences
1. The Bible (A Reading Experience Worth Coming Back To)
Doxa includes the complete Bible with a reading experience that we think is genuinely better than most Bible apps. Clean typography, distraction-free design, and a reading experience built for focus and engagement.
But here's what makes the Bible in Doxa different from other Bible apps: Scripture is connected to everything else. Your Bible reading doesn't live in isolation. Verses are linked to records in your Encouragement Vault, to relevant Grace Record testimonies, and to Engage conversations. When you highlight a verse that speaks to you, it becomes part of your living library of encouragement.
When you use Engage, it draws from Scripture alongside your own Vault records and Grace Record stories. So the Bible isn't just something you read; it's something that speaks back to you in context, connected to the real encouragement God has given you throughout your life.

2. The Grace Record (1,600+ Curated Testimonies)
The Grace Record is a library of real testimonies from believers across history and around the world. Not celebrity preachers or influencers. Regular people who experienced God in specific, undeniable ways.
Here's what makes The Grace Record different:
Curated, not crowd-sourced. Every testimony is reviewed for theological integrity, historical accuracy, and spiritual depth. You won't find prosperity gospel, watered-down motivational speeches, or anything that doesn't honour Scripture.
Searchable by what you need. Struggling with doubt? Search "doubt." Praying for healing? Search "healing." Need hope in grief? Search "loss." The Grace Record surfaces testimonies relevant to your actual life right now.
Real stories, not platitudes. These aren't "10 ways to pray better" articles. They're stories like Corrie ten Boom (1892-1983) hiding Jews in Nazi-occupied Holland, or a single mum in Uganda starting a church in her living room, or a college student wrestling with sexuality and faith. Messy, honest, God-glorifying.
The Grace Record exists because when you're struggling, you need to know you're not the first person to face this. Someone else walked through doubt, depression, financial ruin, relationship breakdown, chronic illness, or grief and found God faithful. Their testimony becomes encouragement for your journey.
And if you want to share your own story more broadly? You can actually submit your testimony to The Grace Record and add it to this growing library of what God has been doing all over the world, in all walks of life, for centuries.
3. Engage: Text or Voice (AI-Powered Spiritual Conversations)
Engage is where Doxa gets personal. It's an AI-powered conversation (text or voice) that draws from three sources at once: Scripture, The Grace Record, and your own Encouragement Vault.
Here's how it works:
You talk. It listens. Open the app, tap the microphone, and say what's on your heart. No typing. No trying to articulate feelings in perfect sentences. Just talk.
It responds with Scripture, testimonies, and your own records. This is what makes Engage unique. It doesn't give you generic advice. It draws from the Bible, from The Grace Record, and from your own Encouragement Vault records (whether prophecies, testimonies, prayer notes, or anything else you've saved) to offer specific, faith-grounded encouragement. It connects the dots between what Scripture says, what God has done in other people's lives, and what God has already said to you personally.
It's private and judgment-free. No one sees your conversations. No church gossip. No pressure to sound "spiritual enough." Just you and a voice that understands.
When you need it, not when it's scheduled. Can't sleep at 2 AM because anxiety won't quit? Engage is there. Sitting in your car before a hard conversation? Engage is there. Feeling isolated in your faith? Engage is there.
Engage isn't trying to replace your pastor, small group, or therapist. It's a supplement. A first step when you don't know who else to talk to.

4. The Encouragement Vault (Your Personal Archive)
The Encouragement Vault is where you save the words of life and destiny the Holy Spirit may have spoken to you; through prayer, through others, through Scripture, and in moments you don't want to forget.
Voice notes. Hit record and capture a prayer, a prophetic word, or something God revealed during your quiet time. Six months later, listen back and remember.
Text notes. Write down sermon quotes, journal entries, or verses that hit differently today.
Testimonies. Record your own testimonies: the stories of what God has done in your life. Keep them private, share them with people close to you, or build a record of God's faithfulness in your own life that you can look back on for years. You can keep it all to yourself, share with a small group, or (if you want to share more broadly) submit your story to The Grace Record and add it to the growing record of God's faithfulness across the world.
Bookmarks. Save testimonies from The Grace Record that resonated. Build your own library of encouragement.
The Encouragement Vault is private by default. Share what you want with friends, groups, or keep it all to yourself. Either way, it's your permanent record of God's faithfulness in your life. And because everything in your Vault is connected to Scripture and to Engage, the encouragement you record today doesn't just sit there; it becomes part of a living conversation that can speak back to you when you need it most.
Who Is Doxa For?
Doxa is built for believers who want to remember what God said and experience His glory again and again.
Specifically, we built Doxa for:
People who believe God speaks and don't want to forget what He said. If someone told you something from God, if you received encouragement that changed your direction, if God spoke to you in prayer, through Scripture, or through another person, Doxa exists to help you hold onto it. Record it. Revisit it. Let it encourage you for years, not just the moment it was first spoken.
People going through hard seasons. If you're in a valley and need hope that doesn't feel fake, Doxa is for you. The Grace Record is full of people who walked through hell and found God faithful.
People who want to build a record of God's faithfulness. Your own story matters. The things God has done in your life are evidence, and they're worth recording. Doxa lets you build a personal archive of testimonies, encouragement, and answered prayers that you can look back on for the rest of your life. Your record of God's faithfulness becomes fuel for the road ahead.
Anyone who forgets easily. If you're tired of having profound spiritual moments that evaporate by next week, Doxa helps you hold onto them.
People who love the Bible and want a beautiful reading experience. Doxa has the complete Bible, and the reading experience is clean, immersive, and connected to everything else in the app. Scriptures link to your Vault records and Grace Record stories. It's the Bible, alive and in context.
Small groups and churches. Share testimonies, encourage each other, and build a collective archive of how God is moving in your community. Learn more about Doxa for churches.
What Doxa Is NOT
Let's be clear about what Doxa doesn't do:
Not therapy. Engage is spiritual encouragement, not clinical mental health treatment. If you're dealing with depression, trauma, or mental health crises, please see a licensed therapist. Doxa can supplement therapy, but it's not a replacement.
Not a prosperity gospel tool. We don't promise health, wealth, or a pain-free life. We promise encouragement rooted in Scripture and the testimonies of people who followed Jesus even when it cost them everything.
Not another task. Doxa doesn't guilt you into "daily streaks" or "read the Bible in a year" plans. Use it when you need it. That's the whole point.
Not a social network. Doxa is about your relationship with God, not broadcasting to the world. Sharing is always your choice, and privacy is the default.

2. Explore The Grace Record. Search for a topic you're facing right now. Read a few testimonies. Bookmark ones that resonate.
3. Try Engage (Text or Voice). Open the mic or type a message. Tell it what's on your heart. Listen to the response. See if it helps.
4. Read Scripture in a new way. Open the Bible in Doxa and experience Scripture connected to real testimonies and your own words of life. It's the same Bible, but the reading experience might surprise you.
5. Start building your Encouragement Vault. Next time something hits you in a sermon, prayer, or quiet time, record it. Next time God does something in your life worth remembering, write it down. The Bigger Vision: Experience God's Glory for the Whole Journey
Doxa exists because God's encouragement is not just for the moment you first receive it. It is for the road ahead.
The founder, Garth Watson, built Doxa after realising that personal prophecies, the specific words God speaks over your life through Scripture, through prayer, through other believers, were being lost. Forgotten within weeks. Gone by the time you actually needed them most.
Paul told Timothy to remember his personal prophecies and use them to fight the good fight (1 Timothy 1:18). Timothy could not fight with words he had forgotten. Neither can you.
A prophetic word given to you 10 or 15 years ago can encourage you more today than the day it was first spoken. But only if you recorded it. Only if you kept the detail. Only if you can find it again when life gets hard and you need to hear what God already said.
That is why Doxa exists. To record what God says to you, to preserve the detail, to help you build a record of His faithfulness in your own life, and to bring it all back when you need it most. It is a tool to fight the forgetfulness that robs believers of the encouragement God already gave them.
But it's more than memory. Doxa is about experiencing God's glory again and again. When you revisit what God said, His Presence is there. When you read a testimony of what He did for someone else, His faithfulness becomes real to you. When Engage surfaces a verse alongside your own Vault records and a Grace Record story, the pieces come together in ways that feel alive. That is doxa: the glory of encountering God, not once, but for the whole journey.
Remember what God said. That is not just a tagline. It is a spiritual discipline. And Doxa is here to help you live in the glory of what God has done, is doing, and will do.
