The blessing over Noah, the ban on eating blood, and how the image and the shed blood both find their end in Christ.

The altar is what changed. The olah and its reyach nichoach, the pleasing aroma, run straight to the fragrant offering of Christ.

Then he builds the first altar in Scripture, and over its smoke God makes a promise that still holds every spring, that seedtime and harvest will never cease.
